You can choose a stock product from my Product Ordering page, or you can submit a picture or a sketch of your idea so that I can create a preliminary design for you. Then we chat about the space in which its going to be place

Estimated shipping costs are added, or I can deliver items to the local Chicago metro area for free. Payments can be made in a variety of ways. Then, I get to building!

My passion for art and creativity has always been part of my life ever since I can remember! But after some physical issues forced me to retire in 08' that's when Art came storming back into my life. I created a cool niche of sculpting Wine Cork into some pretty cool Art pieces for 5 plus yrs. Suddenly Asthma got in the way due to breathing too much extra-fine Cork-dust from the sculpting. It forced me to stop the creativity for a while, not good for soul!
Enter 2016 and Woodworking! The good news is that I read the book "FAILING Forward" a few yrs earlier that prepared me for my initiation into woodworking! Because it did take some time to find my place, but there's no doubt that the Bourbon Barrel niche is where I belong. The challenges are many for each project because every angle and curvertry is different! But I feel these challenges bring out the best in me - the Details is where the glory is... meaning I get a lot of Joy from the results! I feel the need for Bourbon Barrels!

The Creation of Bourbon Barrel Creations.
Hello, Dave Dixon here, Owner of the BBC. Texas 2019 was the humble beginnings of Bourbon Barrel Creations, as we had just moved there from MO! Not long after the move the Wood Shed was built and armed with a full assortment of 2nd-hand tools and machinery! With my new Shed looking awesome and basically 5 feet away from my pillow, my creative juices were in overdrive, where to begin, right?!
After a couple months I felt my Projects were not going as planned, not bad but too basic for my taste! I love sculpting and creating art - rather than squared-up furniture! So I started thinking outside the box, which included activating my dominate Art side again! That's when I stumbled into my Bourbon Barrel obsession! As a lover of Rye Bourbon who's married to a Louisvillian, I felt the nudge to expand my knowledge of "all things Barrel Wood". It didn't take long to discover where I belong within a niche! I believe the Bourbon Barrel Market is a natural fit for my style of design and purposeful life - the rest is history!
All Bourbon Barrel Staves Are NOT Equal!
Did you know that NOT all Bourbon Barrel Staves are created Equal! The lengths of the Staves and the chamfer are actually pretty standard. But the widths come in 4 or 5 different widths per Barrel, and the curvertry of vertical Stave are slightly different which makes working with this Material challenging, but fun!!!!
